Sorry if I spoil the mood, but I believe all languages are fit to be sung, but the end result is always going to be subjective, since that's the nature of taste in music.
So far I have heard good metal music in Spanish, English, German, Swedish, Japanese, Finnish, Yiddish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Italian, Russian and Mandarin. So far so good..

Ohhh I want your recs ;) Apart from Héroes del Silencio, Mägo de Oz, Moonspell, Rammstein, Finntroll (idk if you like any of these) and various Finnish bands. (I'm personally not that interested in recs for Russian, English, Mandarin and Japanese, and maybe not Norwegian either)
I totally agree that all languages are good for music and it's largely a matter of taste.

I've seen both Stam1na and Turmiön kätilöt live :D Stam1na even several times. BTW if you like Stam1na, check out Mokoma if you haven't yet. That's the band that started Sakara records and essentially discovered Stam1na and helped them get started. They've toured together a lot.
I might have seen Turmion kätilöt more than once but I basically mostly enjoyed the show. At this year's RockCock festival I didn't bother to see them live at about 14.30.
Hehe I thought L'âme immortelle sing in French! gotta check them out and the rest of the bands you mentioned as well :)
