Is there any room for me (and my Hebrew attempt) in any team?

If you ask on the Rara Team thread I'm sure they'd take you on board. Good luck with Hebrew!

I am a couple weeks late due to some account issues, but I'd like to join in.

I will be working on Dutch and Russian, and maybe Spanish towards the end of the year.

I hope to get to the intermediate level (from beginner) in Russian and de-rust my Dutch.

The Russian team is closed but:
-Team Exploradores has quite a few Russian members learning Spanish (and Portuguese, Catalan)
-there's the Uralic and Balto-Slavonic team, where Russian is quite popular.

The Dutch team should welcome you with open arms :-)

I'm also a bit late :/

My focus languages this year are Mandarin (simplified characters) and Basque. I'd also like to continue building vocabulary (ie reading) in Spanish and Catalan and perhaps work on my writing some.

Can someone edit the first post please? I think only mods can do that by now and not Cavesa herself.

Anyway, by now it's obvious that no new teams would be formed, so it would be great to have a link to the umbrella thread. Please make it clear that anyone signing up after the year started should choose a team to join. (the Russian one is closed, I'm not aware of any others that are not accepting new members) And preferably they should ask directly in the team thread.

Crush, Team Exploradores would welcome you with your Spanish and Catalan. And while it's not intended for languages like Basque, I'm sure many of us will also be curious about your Basque adventures.

There's also a Chinese team for the learners of Mandarin and Cantonese.

@ Serpent: done

@ Ogrim: done

@ Crush: wouldn't the logical team for your Basque adventure be the one reserved for rare languages?

@ Yaan: I'll await information from the team leaders before I change the lists in message 2 & 3 above (although I may do a complete round through all the team threads sometime in February to catch any belated changes to the member lists)
