My SRS has certainly sped up. I'm still entering as much detail (very slow) with
plenty of examples, but when I go into review/study mode I am going through the cards
at lightening speed compared to what I was. This is simply because I"m not lingering
on cards. I attempt the translation and if I get it right the next time the card pops
up (new cards are viewed 5 times before becoming active with my settings) I simply
translate the word again and ONE of the example sentences I've provided only.

Each hour I"m studying 15min of SRS and 45min of course work. During the 3 hours of
study today I essentially did 45 min of SRS. I got through 99 cards. That only works
out to one card every 27.3 seconds... but... since i'm only doing new cards at the
moment (5 reps before each card then becomes 'active'), this actually equates to 2700
seconds divided by (99 cards x 5 reps), which is 2700 divided by 495, which equals
5.45, ie one card per 5.45 seconds. Not bad really. This is how I'll continue from
here on. When I get through my backlog of 'new' cards I'll should work my way through
the active cards at a good pace. Hopefully it shows in my vocabularly 'access' if you
will (ie feel for how activated my vocab is due to more exposure via SRS).

As a side note, entering the FC's while doing my remaining 45min of coursework per
hour is slow as mentioned due to clarifying and examples etc as well as sometimes
entering phonetics, but i'm ok with that at the moment I've decided.

Current course working on completion btw is Rocket French Premium Plus. I'm working my
way through the final bonus CDs adding new words to my SRS which are themed- medical
terms (not overly technical), Christmas, Business terminology, Romance.

Rocket French Premium Plus completed!

Mais je vais le revoir de temps en temps en conduisant ma voiture. In short a really
good follow on audio course from the Pimsleur courses as it contains quite a lot of
different vocab spoken at a faster pace in general than Pimsleur. The Bonus CDs aren't
as good as the main content.

Liste des cours que j'ai finis :

Rocket French Premium Plus
Fluenz French 3
Pimsleur French IV
Living Language Essential French
Colloquial French
Pimsleur French III
Mastering French 1 (FSI units 1 to 6)
Hugo French in 3 Months
Fluenz French 2
Rocket French Premium
Learn French with Paul Noble
French all talk - Linguaphone
Pimsleur French II
Fluenz French I
Pimsleur French I
Michel Thomas Masterclass French
Michel Thomas Perfect French
Michel Thomas Total French
Usborne Fr Dictionary for Beginners
First Thousand Words in French

Congrats!
Why don't you resell or give away some of the 43 courses?

That's an extremely logical suggestion Serpent...

I can't be bothered honestly. I feel like if I tried to sell a lot of them (there's no way I'd sell them all as many of
them are still very useful courses) not many would sell, then I'd be left with a 35 or so and only sold a handful
for more effort than it's worth. I do think that if I can make my way through half of them, the other half will be a
walk in the park. It's like reading 43 books- if I read 20 the other 20 will become much easier and quicker. I
have thought about selling the audio based courses like Pimsleur and Michel Thomas as they're completely
intact even after finishing them (unlike books that have some wear)... but I just can't be bothered. I've spent
so much time collecting them, reading reviews, ripping the CDs, categorizing the files on my hard drive and
backing them up (all procrastination of course) that I'll just leave them be now- if in the end i come to my
senses and only use a fraction of them, then so be it, I don't want to waste any more time than I have to on
them, even if it seems logical like selling them.
