I am going to take CAE exam in December.
I would like to cooperate with somebody in order to create the club for CAE preparation. It could be as the skype conference. I would be happy to train Speaking and Writing via skype. We could try to check our essays, encourage each other, push each other forward, organize speaking sessions on the CAE topics. We can choose some textbooks for our sessions, do oral and written tasks from the textbook. If anybody was interested, I would create a page with a scheldule of our meetings. Hurrah! Today at 7 p.m. (Moscow time) we are having our third session!
We chose for training Speaking part the textbook 'Gold Advanced', 2015. Our sessions consist from 3 parts. We speak on Speaking part from the textbook, the format of the exam and our mistakes (there is a native in our club, who corrects us, but he is not online every session, sometimes he is with us, sometimes he is not. We use 'Collocations in Use Advanced' in addition to the main textbook.

From this moment our club will be divided into three branches:
1) Preparation for FCE (only calls) 2) Preparation for CAE (only calls) 3) Chatting group (Just to exchange text messages) For CAE group there are special requirements. Every session we train one part from CAE Speaking Task. We don't use CAE Gold Advanced, only Past Papers. Requirements for answers in the voice chat: First and foremost: They should be prepared. We are revising and brushing up our skills during the session. Second: We use only Advanced Grammar and Vocabulary for our answers, like - Third and Mixed Conditionals, The complex subject The complex predicative The complex direct object Constructions like — If not for, But for, If I were you and so on. We use Linkers, Colloquial phrases, Introductory Phrases, like - Frankly Speaking, Truthfully speaking, To be honest. As for as vocabulary is concerned: Active using of Collocations, Idioms, Phrasal Verbs from the textbooks 'IN USE'. For every session we are going to prepare materials. The First Session of the newborn CAE branch is planned on Sunday, 10 :00 The past paper for the session on Sunday: A Past Examination Paper The materials for our first session ___ Vocabulary in Use Advanced Phrasal Verbs in Use Advanced Idioms in Use Advanced Vocabulary in Use Advanced For timing we use the stop-watch over here ______ Clock Each answer should be strictly in time. To estimate our answers accoriding to Fluency, the presence and appropiate using of Advanced Grammar and Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Stylistics, Corresponding to the topic, Coordination and Coherence of our speech, we asked one native.
