Hi, I want to join the army and the role I want to do requires me to have a degree in a
language. I am wondering what are the levels in Mandarin Chinese and what level would I need to get to for a degree? How would I go about in getting a degree in mandarin? Don't know about the army. Sorry. They require a degree in a language? I only see the end results for Japanese majors, but it seems like you can graduate with a degree in Japanese and have pretty so-so level of Japanese. Anyway, I would give you this advice, and that is whatever the requirements, if you are going to major in Chinese, you are going to want to be really really good at Chinese, because your college Major is going to define who you are to employers. If you have it in you to get really good at Chinese, then go for it.
