The best prices I found for Assimil is at http://store.inkleaf.com/. They have a few Assimil Books and CD sets for $34.97US. I cannot vouch for these guys since I haven't bought anything yet. I have emailed them asking for a shipping quote(to Australia) but haven't got a reply yet.
As for the Aussies out there we have a few options(All prices here on in are Australian). 'German with Ease' can be had for $50 from fishpond.com.au. They also sell other Assimil products from $50-$130. Emporiumbooks.com.au is probably next best, they have the Assimil books for $113. Apart from that, the major book stores have them for $120. I suspect inkleaf's shipping cost would be around $15-$25 which puts the total in at around $55-$70.

Where can I find Assimil Japanese Volume 2? I think I've checked all the sites posted by other forum members in this thread, but it seems like none of them have it. I did check Amazon, they have it but it says there is a 1-3 month wait. If there is another site selling volume 2 of Assimil Japanese, besides Amazon, can someone post a link. Thanks.

Thasnks for the reply sheetz. However, my dad doesn't like that site and doesn't want me to order from them. Do you know of any other sites? Thanks again!

Do a search at http://www.bookfinder4u.com/ and you'll come up with many stores selling it.

Does anyone know about the different versions of Perfectionnement Allemand (Using German, in French) and their prices? As I can see in the English/French Assimil website, the newest version is out since about 2004. Well, which website sells this course at a lower price? And if the old and new versions are not very different, I would just consider buying from Assimil (paying Euros) instead. But I'm based in Hong Kong, so I'd want to pay US Dollars as much as possible, because that's the most stable currency in relation to Hong Kong Dollars.

Old French without Toil. Where, oh where, can I find you?
The book is not a problem really, it's the RECORDINGS. I hate to go that route but I've considered P2P (if they're that obstinate about not making their older recordings available then why not) and I've still had no luck. I know I could get the new stuff, I just like the A. Cherel stuff a lot better. It's not like I'm not willing to pay; I'll pay top dollar and I have all the equipment to convert to digital. I've ran into so many dead ends looking for it. Does ANYONE know where I can find them? >=(
Thanks,
- J
