I have ordered several Russian books and CDs from Ruslania from Helsinki, Finland (www.ruslania.com) because they have an extensive collection of books on Russian language. Ruslania accepts credit cards and PayPal. They notify you about your purchase and delivery. The site has several languages besides Finnish.

merlin.pl is one of the few Polish bookstores which deliver overseas. They have a large stock of both books and audiobooks. Shipping charges seem reasonable, though they do charge per item.

I have bought books from most of these sellers (around 90%) and I am happy with their service. Some of them
charge too much for postage though.

A Swedish bookstore I like is Bokus.se. It has got the same range of products as Akademibokhandeln.se (and the same company Coop, owns them both, but the prices are cheaper since Bokus is an on-line only bookstore, and Akademibokhandeln have shops [and have to pay thier rent]).
