I know that this topic has already been discused, but I can't find this thread, so... could you recommend me some books or internet websites with a good explanation of a) theory of grammar b) all of this stuff such as types of the consonants (velar etc.) with some explanations relatively "for dummies"?

There's the The Linguistics Podcast (No longer a podcast, but now a Youtube channel). Not really comprehensive, but it has a lot of nice introductions to various terminology and concepts.

There also this textbook in .pdf for an introductory course in linguistics which should be useful.
