I wish to develop my Italian language knowledge by hopefully submitting/exchanging text with other learners.
The Italian language forum requires text in Italian only. I am not up the standard of being sure everything I
write in Italian is correct. Is there anyway I can use this site to develop my Italian?
Cheers.

You are certainly welcome to try your best in the Italian forum and ask for corrections. :-) Or you can start a language learning log and write in whichever language you wish there.
But honestly, if you want lots of corrections, you'll probably have more luck at lang-8, a specialized site just for getting corrections. I wrote up some notes a while ago about how to use lang-8 effectively which might be of interest.

And if you have a question about Italian, you can open a thread in the Specific languages subforum. If you have a question about language learning in general (ie if those who don't speak Italian can still help you), ask in the advice centre.
