I've been going through all my stuff due to my recent move and have been gathering all my French books. If anyone's interested in some group activities, I have some resources that might help.
There's Dites-moi un peu which is a conversation guide at the B1-B2 level (though useful for higher levels I'd say) which takes certain themes and gathers related vocabulary, articles, cartoons, etc, and proposes different conversation topics. Good for mixing things up and getting out of your comfort zone (rather than have yet another conversation about why you started learning French or the difference between French culture and your own, etc). I also have Alter Ego 5, a French method for C1-C2 (one of the only ones) that also has a lot of activities that could/should be done in a group. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I won't have time to participate in TAC this year, but I'll once again try to follow the French team's logs!
My log Here's a list of mostly native resources that may amuse intermediate learners: VDM. Short, humorous stories of days gone wrong. Perfect for Anki. Topito (thanks, sctroyenne!). Aggressive mix of slang and more formal language, lots of cultural details, funny. Izneo (thanks, geoffw!). Read BDs online, cheaply, from anywhere. SensCritique. Incredibly awesome database of book, TV & movie reviews. Do not miss. French movies and series with subs. For your watching pleasure. Near-complete transcript of Buffy contre les vampires. The DVD box set often runs ~US$100 on Amazon.fr. Les années lumière (thanks Arekkusu!). Science podcast with a broad range of Quebec accents. Le québécois en 10 leçons. A crash-course in very casual Québécois (more causal than most of what I run into in Montreal). VPN France. Convince French sites you're in France! Fun TV, mostly without subs, but not outrageously difficult: L'Avatar, most episodes of Castle, Les Revenants (maybe a bit harder than the others), the Quebec version of BBC Planète Terre, Tintin, Ulysse 31, Code Lyoko and Tara Duncan (not my cup of tea, but not bad, either). These all make fine choices for a second series after you've weaned yourself off French subs. If you need recommendations for science fiction or bandes dessinées, feel free to ask, letting me know your approximate level and your personal tastes.
