Hello,
I signed up for Spanish on the original TAC 2014 thread. Please can I be added to this
team? In 2014 I'm hoping to take my B2 Spanish to a C1 and if I'm feeling brave take the
DELE C1 in November.

Thanks

Hey guys! I'd like to say a big welcome to all the new members of our team! I'm also very happy to see that several high-profile forumers have signed up as well. ;)

A few quick things.
1) If you would like to continue using your existing log, please drop a line in this thread.
2) Is everyone happy with our current team name?
3) Would you like to have some sort of challenge every month, like maybe reading a short story/novel? Personally, I like discussing the things I read, and I think it would be a good way of keeping participation/motivation levels high.

I'm sorry for this late update, but my workload has doubled in the last two weeks, and I'm still trying to get used to this new schedule.

Thanks for adding the link to my log! can you also list Catalan for me?

As for challenges, I think it would be good to have more variety. I'm going to start a poll about challenges in the signup thread.

I know the Asian team had a GLOSS challenge, I think it's a great idea. I'd also want to show lyricstraining some love :-)

Although if every month we had a reading challenge and a general challenge, this would be perfect :)))

espejismo, thanks for organizing the thread!

1) I will continue my log

Anya’s TAC2014:jäŋe,French,Iberia$mor

2) I'm happy with "Iberia"

3) It's a great idea of having a month challenge like reading a short story/novel (or may be a chapter of a novel).
By the way, here is a link for the website
http://espanol.free-ebooks.net
with free books in Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese

Speaking of challenges: is there any student of Portuguese who would like to be a guinea
pig by trying to understand some short chronicles and tales about daily life in Brazil?

I thought it's better to have a more neutral name that doesn't make it sound like we're limited to Iberian Spanish etc? It was supposed to be no more than a working title :)

Expugnator, I'm definitely up for the challenge :)

I'd certainly be up to
the challenge if you believe it'd be feasible for a motivated beginner (but who has a French background)!
