I've just disabled images on the Albanian Wikipedia. Today I wanted to see what
I could understand from the article of the day which is about hudhra and was immediately faced with a large picture of a garlic bulb, making the topic quite obvious and allowing me to make many other assumptions on the contents of the article. This probably sounds a bit drastic, but I felt this gives me too much of an advantage, so I'm blocking the images from now on. Last week I was in Istanbul and took a little break from Albanian, but I'm back now.
Before I left I extended my corpus significantly, so that the original title of this thread doesn't really fit anymore. It's no longer Wikipedia only because I've now added about 20 million words from OpenSubtitles, 5 million words from the South European Times, 750k words from a Bible and 450k words from a Quran translation into Albanian. This means I now have a sizeable corpus of almost 37 million words with much more diverse linguistic data than before. Blog post with some more details.
