I will add a cool introduction this weekend (or maybe not).
But the main point is:
I talked about an idea to start a project where I was going to study one after the
others all the main languages of the
Slavic family with the main goal to understand all the language, starting from
Romanian to have a more gentle
introduction. What is the main flaw of this crazy project? Well, Russian was set as
the arrival point. According to this
project I should wait something like two years before to start Russian.
**** this. I changed my mind. I start with Russian. For how long? Who cares, it will
be my marathon. I will just delay
the start a little bit to save some study time for French and having the time to
complete my headstart in Spanish.
I just write this log now in order to compromise myself. I'm going to buy the books to
compromise myself even
more. I will make the necessary researches (principally asking you guys haha) in the
next days.

For a minute I thought I'd have to post a "doh" test.

What I want to know is: what is the motivation behind learning Russian? For me, if I was to learn it, it would be read Russian classics.

I have many.
- literature
- gateway to Slavic world
- people
- gateway to Slavic languages.
The first three are very important and the last is a nice side effect.
