I did some exercises from Grammaire Progressive (debutant).
I was talking to my father and I discovered I could describe very basic situations in french.
I have a stomach-ache. My head hurts. He is sleeping. That sort of thing.
Maybe it's all the TV I watched that's made this possible.

Studying from Grammaire Progressive makes me happy because the first few chapters are a
breeze and it gives me satisfaction that I can at least understand some French. Which
chapter are you in?

Napoleon, I just now noticed that you said you could talk to your father and could communicate. I know I am in the minority here on this board, only
speaking one language! But being able to communicate in another language is a thrill! It makes me want to push ahead with my Spanish and be able to
communicate on a deeper level! Keep up the good work! You will soon be able to speak French! :-)
