http://ilearnrussian.com/ is a good site to buy resources. I've brought a lot of books from there. I've been studying Russian for three years and I'm still at the A1 level and I really hope I can reach A2 by next year. I didn't study the right way so I get to go back and do everything over.

As always, I say that the best combination I've found so far is Assimil New Russian With Ease (for the listening and interaction parts) and The New Penguin Russian Course for the grammar part.
With those 2, and also speaking with natives through internet and/or watching movies, and/or listening to music, I must agree with @Tarvos and say that even B1 is achievable in one year.
