	RTVE news is broadcast and recorded daily for international audiences. I know that news may seem very daunting for six months, but still, I felt that it improved my listening comprehension immensely: madrid/">http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/videos/informativo-de-m adrid/ is an example. The lack of colloquialisms in the speech of news reporters will help. I have been watching RTVE news almost daily for approximately five years. The clear speech helps to focus more on understanding context rather than straining to understand what the words actually are. 	I'm one of the few here who loves Portuguese a lot more than Spanish :P Seconding the recs for Destinos and lyricstraining. Try GLOSS as well, it's basically a lot of free lessons with interesting content (science, economics, society, politics... and even football, especially in Spanish and Portuguese since it's such an important topic in the countries that speak these languages).
