Welcome to the forum, Khalid! I had a couple of roommates in college that were Brazilians, and they were very cool. I did not get a chance to learn from them the troubles you have described, though. Not to sound too ethnocentric, but have you thought of going to an English-speaking country just to improve your situation, and then focus on French?

There is one tried and tested way of getting a new passport. If you can get to France and join the Foriegn Legion you can get a French passport at the end of your service, and you'll know French!

Khalid, why such a choice for the forum name? Have you had any contact with Arabic? Or maybe have family/friends who are Arabic?
I happen to love the name, since it was used in Baldur's Gate, and it means 'eternal'.
