This is my journal/log for the Esperanto in 6 weeks challenge! Yay!

I had Esperanto in my 'to do list'. I had planned on learning it sometime in 2015 but two
things happened:
1) After a while of tackling Japanese, I need a short break from it. I will continue to
study it of course but for the next 6 weeks, it is going into the background.
2) This Esperanto in 6 weeks challenge came up and I really want to know if I can learn
enough Esperanto in 6 weeks to do a 5 minute presentation video.

Wish me luck!!!

Good luck on this Esperanto challenge. I'm
tempted to join you.

Will you use lernu? It seems quite popular.

I'm sure you'll do well. I haven't studied it, but just looking at it, a lot of the
vocabulary looks very similar to Spanish.

Saluton!
Mi dankas vi!

Thank you all! I spent the last few days collecting resources. So far the two main ones
are Lernu and the Chicago-Esperanto society.

Since today is the fist official day of the challenge, I am diving right in. The
language is so fun! I have already learned a few words and can say some basic phrases.
I can totally do this. I am making a video today to document the beginning and I plan
on making a video every week after that until the final 5 minute presentation.

Woo Hoo!!!
