**YESTERDAY**
-- Practiced writing characters by-hand 1 hour -- Completed Pimsleur II track 27 -- Completed FSI Module 2 Unit 3 -- Completed Ch 32 of NPCR My friends took me out to celebrate my past b-day. Got home too late to skritter or do more studying. But I got some done, and some is better than none. **TODAY** -- Completed Pimsleur II track 28, 29 -- Practiced writing by-hand 1 hour -- Completed Ch 33 of NPCR -- Completed FSI Module 2 Unit 4 -- Skritter 2 hours I was in the mood to listen to The Offspring (or just music in general) and when im in these moods I do it all day. To keep myself productive while slacking I listened while Skrittering and writing characters by hand. Nah. But I think im mostly half-assing FSI for now. I only do C1, P1 and D1. I dont bother with the workbook, and I like listening to the tapes while I do my crosswords. **TODAY** -- Anki Reviews complete. Noticing myself answering the sentence flashcards a little easier now *yay* -- Pimsleur II track 30 = Done. -- Pimsleur III track 1, 2 = Done. -- FSI Module 2 Unit 5 = done. Unit 6 C1 and P1 done but haven't done the drills yet. -- Skritter 1 hour. Added 20 new words. -- Watched Growing up with Chinese Lesson 44. -- 30 mins Handwriting NPCR L34 dialogue. Almost caught up with the lessons so I can start adding NPCR words again. I did a lot today considering how addicted I've gotten to this silly online rpg game called Fallen London. Its ridiculous how much time I've spent refreshing the page every 10 mins. teeehee. *edit* -- FSI Module 2 Unit 6 D1= complete and Unit 7 = Complete I wasn't going to do anymore but I'm so addicted to this game, I thought, Instead of sitting around I might as well study some Chinese. xD Edited by yele on 13 July 2013 at 5:46am 1 person has voted this message useful | |

-- Pimsleur III tracks 3,4 = Done -- FSI Module 2 Unit 8 = Done. Still need to do the review tapes before officially completing Module 2. :) -- Skritter for 40 mins. No new words -- Anki reviews completed. Wish I could have done more today than I did but some is better than none. I was beat after attacking my garden of doom (too many weeds for words). Gah. Today nad yesterday my chinese-plans have really hit an all time low. I found myself uninspired to study. **TODAY**
-- Completed FSI Module II Review tape 2 and Criterion test. Module II is officually complete. Yay. -- Completed Pimsleur III tracks 8,9,10 -- Shadowed Slow Chinese #4 for about 40 minutes. -- Completed FSI Module III Unit 1 P1 and D1 done. -- Practiced handwriting NPCR L34 of dialogue 2 -- Skrittered for approximately 40 mins. No new words. -- Watched Growing up with chinese ep 45. I stopped using Anki because, honestly I felt like the deck I downloaded had wrong sentences and decided to create my own from the FSI tapes. I only added the 25 sentences from the review tapes (also about 28 from the second..). I hope this is useful. -- Practiced handwriting L35 dialogue 1 of NPCR -- Completed Pimsleur III; tracks 11,12 -- Completed Anki reviews -- Completed FSI Module 3 Unit 2 C1 -- Skritter 48 minutes, 20 new words added. **TODAY* -- Pracited handwriting L35 dialogue 2 of NPCR -- Completed Pimsleur III; track 13 -- Completed Anki reviews -- Completed FSI Module 3 Unit 2 P1, D1. Unit 2 officially complete! -- Skritter 38 minutes. No new words Didn't do as much today because I spent most of my day reading. I have a book due from the library that I barely cracked open *oops*. I dont like returning books before I've finished them or else I never will. As a side note, I really enjoy the self-made Anki flashcards. I'm thinking about adding new cards per unit instead of just based on the end reviews but we'll see. Also.. I havent shadowed these two days which I regret. -- Completed Pimsleur III tracks; 14,15,16 -- Completed Anki reviews -- Listened & Read chapters 1-4 of Chinese Breeze's 向左向右。 -- Completed FSI Module 3 Unit 3 :D -- Skrittered for ~50 mins. My head really wasn't into studying today but I managed. Mostly passive. Admittedly my mind has been preoccupied these last two days on the results of the CSC scholarship. To avoid stressing I decided to make ice cream and read leisurely which is why I have so many tracks completed of pimsleur (I had a lot of mint to pick and sort out for the mint icecream xD) 1 person has voted this message useful |
