Well, on LibriVox, I found a few audiobooks (with text) in Bulgarian. Unfortunately I
can't find very many translations of said material. I purchased the Assimil course a
few days ago -- and if you think about it, Assimil has all the materials you need for
LR (except for the speed of the voices, but you can fix that to a certain degree with
Audacity and other audio editing programs).
But the real reason I'm posting in this old thread is because I need to know the answer
to this myself! As you can see from the above paragraph, I'm having trouble finding a
lot of LR material in Bulgrian.
Could anyone help out?
Thanks!
Alacritas

Assimil has nowhere near what you need for L-R. All other factors aside, it's far too little audio: it's only a couple of hours, which is far too few for L-R.
If anyone finds/makes good Bulgarian L-R material, I'd be glad to hear of it as well.

Here is a pretty large collection of Bulgarian books:
http://www.avtori.com/categories/1.html
there's only audio though, you still have to find the texts and translations

This site has a huge number of audio books in Bulgarian. I think, they are all legal. A
note down the bottom says they are free and recorded for the blind, and I haven't found
a site selling the recordings.
Of those there, I've managed to find the English and Bulgarian text for the following:
Douglas Adams - Mostly Harmless
Harlan Coben - No Second Chance
Jeffery Deaver - The Coffin Dancer
Jeffery Deaver - The Stone Monkey
Johanna Lindsey - Love Only Once
Roberts Nora - Heaven and Earth
Sandra Brown - The Alibi
Sidney Sheldon - A Stranger in the Mirror

For an easy DIY option, get Pod Igoto from Avtori.com, and get an English translation
from Archive.org (search for Under the Yoke). There's also a Bulgarian text available
here: Pod Igoto
That's 14 hours of L-R right there.
For people who know German, you can add 2 hours extra to this - get the Bulgarian audio
from Librivox, and the German-Bulgarian texts here:
Staroplaninski Legendi
(Only 5 stories out of 10 are translated.)
There are probably more possibilities if you combine the audio with Bulgarian texts
from star05.net and a translation, like H.C. Andersen, the Brothers Grimm and Charles
Dickens.
