The anecdote which I read was about the student helping a girl to carry her suitcase. Though the suitcase is with wheels, the student carry it on the back with difficulty. So the girl said:
背不动就滚吧
The phrase has a double meaning:”if you cann’t carry it on the back, roll it” or “if you cann’t carry it on the back – “roll yourself”/go away.
Vocabulary:
背bēi to carry on the back
不bù no
动dòng to move
就jiù at once; then; right away; only; (emphasis); to approach; to move towards; to undertake
滚gǔn to roll
吧 ba positive suggestion: right? OK?

Japanese:

可 “mouth” + “quarter” is an inhabitant speaking with enthusiasm about his quarter. The meaning is “praise, right”
河 “water”(=”3drops”) + “praise, right”= “river”
何 “man”+ “prise” = a man, approaching to the quarter, ask questions: “what is this place?” = “what? How many? Which?”
荷 “plant”+”how much/how many”= how many plants can I carry/bring? = “weight, load”

German

Here is one of German anecdotes I enjoy:

Der Vater liest um Bett seines Sohnes Märchen vor damit dieser einschläft. Nach einer Weile öffnet die Mutter leise die Tür und fragt:
„ Ist er eingeschlafen?“
„Ja“, seufzt der Kleine, „endlich.“

The anecdote is about a girl who was always late. Her mother explain to the boss a reason of that:

这是因我家有三个妙龄女郎,而镜子却只有一

It's because we have 3 young girls and one mirror.

One more “being late” jock from my ‘L’anglais par humor’ book:
“why are you so late this morning?” – asked the boss
“I got married, sir”
“Well, don’t let it happen again”

Another jock is from “Se perfectioner en anglais”:
“Last year they went on a trip around the world. This year they want to go somewhere else”
