.دراستي ذاهبة جيد
.كنت أعتزمت لأكتب شيء هنا الأمس لكني شعرت كسلان ولم أعرف ما لأكتب
كذلك، كنت منزعج لأن فريق كرة سلتي المفضل فقد لعبة مهمة الأمس
كيف دراستك؟
PS: How would you say "My basketball team" in Arabic?
فريق كرة سلتي = Team of ball of my basket?? That doesn't sound right.
But فريقي كرة سلة doesn't seem right. Isn't a definite non-last term a no-no in
idaafas??

Wow, that was a speedy response, Kinan.
I was deleting and editing my post cos the word order kept getting scrambled up.

1- You can't say like in English, my study is going well.
2- after the verb اعتزمت, only nouns come after it, اعتزمت القيام ب
3- after شعرت you should add ب then the noun شعرت بالظمأ
4- the word منزعجا is خبر so it's مفتوحة and not مضمومة like you wrote it.
5- you don't say فقد for losing a match, you say it for losing points only.
6- also you don't say لعبة in فصحى to point to a match, it's used in dialects only.
7- my basket? سلتي؟ you can say it فريقي المفضل في كرة السلة

I have just seen your edit, I hope I answered your question.
I hate it too when I write English and Arabic in the same post cos it scrambles like you said.

!!شكرا
Muchas gracias por tus correcciones. Much food-for-thought. Gonna have to digest it
slowly.
And I spend more time editing my sentences than I actually spend typing them. Grr.
Earlier for some reason, kuntu kept appearing in the back of the sentence and wouldn't
move to the front despite my best efforts.
And you did answer my question. My favorite team in basketball. Sweet.

This is the only point I didn't understand. It is open because it's news??? It kinda
looks like its in the indefinite accusative though.
