Every 3 months or so I have a look at the comments to the multilingual video, to see if there is anything new,
and today I saw that there was a Swede who claimed that my Swedish was really good, and I have to admit
that none of the other compliments gave me as much pleasure as that one.

All the other languages I have had some sort of formal study in, or at least immersion, but Swedish was the
one I felt most nervous about, because I have just learned it through TV. I was tickled pink when I saw the
praise. I was afraid I'd be laughed out of the forum for trying to speak Swedish :-)

Was/is Swedish easier to you than Nynorsk?

@ Medulin: I am afraid that forced Nynorsk learning at school has forever killed any wish or even ability to
use that language. I could not speak Nynorsk if they payed me a million dollar, and unfortunately that is also
the case for 95% of the population in my part of the country. It is actually a very melodic language, and I do
not mind reading in it or singing it, but there is no way I could say anything in it.

@ Maydayayday: Thank you. Non Swedish compliments are of course also highly appreciated :-)
