Leadop a social network centered on debate. I haven't
seen anything yet that shows it elevates the level of debate beyond a typical moderated
forum/comments section and it doesn't seem too active yet but it could be promising.

Thank you so much for this list.
I acquired Tintin yesterday and have been going at em like popcorn.
Not sure what I'll try next but at least I will waste less time looking around on my own.

If you haven't had a reason to join an Alliance Française/Institut Français near you before, here's an incredible reason:

Culturethèque

With AF/IF membership you'll have access to the international digital library which includes book rentals (looks like 2 at a time for up to 5 per month), magazines/newspapers, 17 scholarly journals in social sciences and humanities through the CAIRN database, science publications, music, graded readers, etc.

Looks like you can register directly through the site and automatically get access for one day while they verify AF/IF membership. If you don't already have membership they'll put you in contact with your local AF/IF to get one or you can go to them directly. Sometimes membership is included with course fees if you register for a class or it can be purchased separately for around $60 (which will also give you borrowing privileges at the onsite library).
