Maybe my German's a lot poorer than yours', oziohume. Yes, the illustrations do help a
bit just not that much. It could just be the story I'm reading.
Emek- I've never actually tried Asterix before. I was buying a congratulatory present for
my nephew for doing well in the annual Scots Language Burns Federation verse speaking
competion at school. I found both TinTin and the Black Isle and also Asterix and the
Picts published in Scots. If I could have afforded it, I would have bought them both for
me...Both were well done. But went for Asterix since it seems a bit 'dafter'. I'll
definitely be trying to get hold of a German copy to give it a chance :) Thanks for the
link!
