Great chart, kanewai.
I'll admit I haven't yet encountered the participles.

I get the impression that participles (verbs that act as adjectives) are common in Egypt
... though maybe it's just the place that MT chooses to start. They're definitely easier
to master than regular verbs. I don't remember encountering them before when I attempted
Eastern or MSA.
I'd love to hear a native speaker chime in!
If not, a buddy from Egypt is coming to visit in December, so I'll have the answer in six
months ...

I finished Lesson 10 yesterday.
I was apprehensive about writing Arabic after a gap of 2 months. I discovered that not only could I write, I was writing faster than before.
UPDATE:
Lesson 10 was about possession.
It teaches the lam particle, 3indi, ma, etc.

My current commitments are forcing me to drop Arabic. I have some exams coming up and I also have to prepare for the CPE, which I'll be taking this December.
This is the second time I tried my hand at Arabic and I'm sure it'll not be the last.
This time, I learnt ruqa, the cursive script. I completed seventy percent of the first set of Madinah videos, and had fun learning it all.
It would be a shame to stop midway, so I'll complete the first Madinah Book before I put my Arabic books away.

You're cursive / ruga looks great! I can print well, but have only dabbled with ruga.
