Have Archie comics been translated into German?
Are there other classic comics which have been translated into German?

Wikipedia doesn't list any translations, so i'd say no.
What do you mean by classic comics, though? Most super hero comics get a translation, as far as i know.

If I didn't already know you were from India, the fact that you call Archie comics "classic" would make me guess so. When I was a kid in the USA, pretty much only girls read Archie comics. But when I got to India, everybody read Archie comics.

Yeah, Archie comics can be girly. Darn, so seeing that Archie is considered girlie, I
gotta hide the fact that I read them sometimes.
What comics are boys into in US?

Donald Duck, maybe? The "Lustiges Taschenbuch" are very popular here, there are hundreds.

hmm, there are Star-Wars-Bücher (Klonekrieger) but those are difficult to follow due to all the Star Wars slang.
As Ninibo says, Lustiges Taschenbuch is popular and can be found at every magazine stand. Speaking of magazine stand, I always went for the Arztromanen when when I was still trying to read German. The language in them is very simple and the stories are predictable. There's usually a lot of useful dialog and they're super cheap.
Gemuse, if you have access to a Bibliothek or Bücherei in your area, they will often have bound comics that are out of print. They have stuff from the 1930s and up. I've seen Lucky Luck, Garfield, Asterix, Calvin and Hobbes, Hagar to name a few.

Ha ha! I like Archie too. But most boys in the US read superhero comics.
Here in the UK, the only comics that people commonly read seems to be humour magazines like Beano. That's just going from the fact that magazine shops don't have other comics like they do in the US or India. You can occasionally find comic stores in the UK.
