What are some good authentic Japanese, Russian or Hindi podcasts that are not geared towards learners, that you can download in MP3 format for offline use without using Itunes, and that are at least 20 minutes long?

News, interview, current events commentary, cultural subjects, would all be great.

And another one for French:

SBS, NHK, BBC, Euronews

Euronews don't broadcast in japanese or hindi. Their shows are less than 20 minutes but you could listen to a few in a row to make your 20 minutes. You can either watch their streaming and record the sound track or download from youtube. I don't understand why they don't podcast anything else than "no comment" which is useless for learning languages.

edit correcting raw for row

So no one knows of a convenient way of obtaining MP3s for these languages?

Any particular reason why has to be MP3, and not anything else suitable for offline use?

I am going to quote myself because I don't like to be no one.

http://media.sbs.com.au/audio/hindi_150108_384417.mp3 (9 minutes)
http://media.sbs.com.au/audio/hindi_150108_384377.mp3 (6 minutes)
http://media.sbs.com.au/audio/hindi_150107_384151.mp3 (10 minutes)

That makes your 20 minutes plus of hindi from SBS.
Convenient enough ?

I enjoy 荒川強啓 デイ・キャッチ!
I get it via itunes, but it should be possible to find it via another podcatcher or using other methods, like saving mp3 from youtube.

Isn't that the format habitually used for downloaded audio? If there are others I wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't be able to use any that were made exclusively for Apple products.

Please excuse me, but you didn't provide any specific links on your first post. Thanks for the Hindi links from the second one.

Thanks for your recommendation. The MP3s for that show can be found here:

I did find a mother lode of Japanese podcasts here:

Do you know of Japanese talk radio stations that can be tuned in live online from overseas?
