It's a pity that Eventeo didn't succeed. As far as I know, this was a project that
actually had paid news writers, but it seems that they never found a way to monetize
their offering. Easy channels like Google Adsense are barring Esperanto sites or sites in
any except the approved languages. Esperanto radio stations like Muzaiko are still giving
away their advertisement spots for free.
I've recently read some recent news from http://www.ipernity.com/blog/jianping
but I suppose that if you want news from a Chinese angle, you might as well read
Ĉina radio internacia. In their "El Mondo" section,
none of the news is older than February 10th.

Good news: http://nunonia.com/ just launched with world news as well as
Esperanto news items.

With Nunonia.com down, are there any other Esperanto sites for world news? (Not Esperanto-specific news, but news about the world in Esperanto)
By the way, this thread is very helpful. Thanks!

Nunonia.com was there when I checked it out, and it looked quite interesting - but it doesn't seem that there is about events from the last couple of months.

Yes, it seems very interesting! If nothing else, I can use their old posts for reading practice.
