Lithuanian is an awesome language! The most conservative indo-european modern language and I love the fact that pagan religions survived for so long in Lithuuania.

So I decided to add Japanese and Finnish as my "studying" languages because I am studying those most and I will not stop studying them until I learn them. They are my focus languages for now.

So I have now committed to not study Irish for maybe 1 or 2 years. It is just too aggravating.

It's tough at the intermediate stage of a language. The language has lost much of its novelty, and yet you are still so far away from fluency. *sigh* If it wasn't for Finnish TV I don't know what I would do...

I wish Ogham, the writing system of old Irish, was still used. It looks so cool!      ᚁᚂᚃᚄᚅ ᚆᚇᚈᚉ ᚊᚋᚌᚍᚎᚏ

Amazing video of monolingual Irish speaker telling old stories. He can't read or write, knowing these stories completely from memory, stories that have been passed down for a thousand years....
