Hey! I was going to join the second Russian team, but since it hasn't been formed yet (as
far as I know) and I saw Solfrid Cristin's post in the TAC thread, I thought I'd drop by
in here. :)

You are on the second team! I just wanted to give those of you who are waiting a place to be until someone decided to create a proper team, or until it was decided that you should join us :-)

Oh, ok! I see. Spasibo!
I just want to say, I hope there will be a lot of interaction between the two Russian
teams because there are a lot of great and very motivated people on this team! :)

Do not worry :-) Whatever the outcome, we will make sure that every interested learner of Russian is taken
well care of, and if the result here are two Russian teams, then we will of course have lots of interaction.
May I add that when I see some of the processes for choosing names and leaders I am soooo happy that we
are team MIR, with the coolest most awesome attitude to every sort of challenge :-)

Great! And that reminds me, I also wanted to say that this is the coolest TAC team I've
ever seen and I'm really enjoying reading through the thread. :D

I've seen how the dictionary is slightly displaced so I'm pretty sure we all agree what a motto is now ;)

How about we let it be the team joke? |

Well, it's sort of a joke for me, one of several running jokes with my Russian friends down on the coast, and it's actually a version of something I often say (thus my own motto, fair and square): if you do something, do it right. I guess that is more 'appropriate', but isn't it much blander?
I once asked Miss Russian Beauty if there was a similar saying (to mine) and all she came up with was 'if you steal, steal (with an emphasis on the second steal)'. After checking with my mates I decided I liked theirs much better -- I don't know, these are the kind of guys (spontaneous, impudent, self-confident, a bit sassy?) that will say anything and leave you wondering why would anyone be offended :)))
BTW I remembered I have it on one of those little pieces of paper laying on my desktop... on the coast! We'll have to wait till the weekend for that one...

clickable but at least they are visible now.
Send me all the links.
