Richard has put a new video up about what "picking up" a language means, at least in his experience - which is vast. Instead of explaining it in English, he demonstrates that he can indeed speak Macedonian and shares his thoughts with us in that language, with English subtitles. I foresee more videos to come that will put you naysayers to shame!

I have also watched his previous video, and I'm impressed (of couse he should be fluent in Macedonian after three years there, but he was also rather fluent in a lot of languages on the first video)

His accent in German is quite good, but i think he uses too much fillers -> "Ähm". It's not a good style, better to pause quietly than to overuse fillers.
Other than that i am looking forward to his future videos.

I could be totally wrong here, but maybe those filler words are a product of being nervous because he knows that everything he's saying will be picked a part mercilessly. Despite his nerves, native speakers still praise his accent. I wonder what that's about.
