I really have no clue about this, so I'm going to ask here! :D
If one speaks Swedish, can they understand Norwegian very well without any studying of Norwegian? What about Danish? And Icelandic? I know they can understand it, but I want to know if there's an extent or if it's really easy for them. I know Icelandic is most different. Which Nordic language provides the most understanding of other Nordic languages without studying the others? I hope that question makes sense... 2 persons have voted this message useful | |
