I started using TWITTER for my language pratictise. When you have an account you can subscribe for example to newspapers and magazines in you target languages and they will present their tweets to you every day.

For example I subscribed to three Danish newspapers. Tweets are short and therefore easy to read.

If people from HTLAL want to visit me on Twitter, my address is "Fasulye2011".

This is mine: http://twitter.com/Laskov

I follow a bunch of English,Bulgarian,Russian and French-speaking people and tweet in English (except when I'm replying to a tweet in another language).

Welcome as Laskov! I will tweet in all my 8 languages, it might be rare that I tweet in English. For me Twitter is extra language practise, so I would find it boring to tweet only in ONE language.

I'm teaching English to Russians, but it might be beneficial for learners of Russian as well:

This is a helpful tip! I am trying to teach myself Russian, and I have used the internet
in some ways, but I never thought about using Twitter. I will subscribe to one/some ASAP.

On twitter I go by "brisensei", and I tweet mostly in Japanese with the occasional attempt
at German or Spanish.

Fasulye, I sent a request to follow you, because I'm interested in reading tweets in the
languages you're learning.

Lucky Charmes, I have accepted your request: Now you can browse through 174 tweets multilangues. Some of my tweets are retweeters about astronomy.

I just made a Twiiter account for myself a few days ago. I didn't really want to do this at first, but then I thought that it would help because I can practice a sentence at a time and that's not so intimidating. I can mention the many interesting language-related articles I find online but don't often write about here. I plan to make this part of my next log project and general language studies. I haven't yet written anything and I don't know how to follow anyone yet, but I'm sure it's not too difficult! I'll post a link in my profile here after I experiment a little with it.
