Ciao!

Allora, eccoti qualche appunto:

EDIT:

PS. The forum is incredibly slow today, so I’ve just noticed that between the time I loaded the page and the time I managed to post my answer garyb has already offered you most corrections. I agree with most of his [(?) sorry garyb, but I’m not sure] suggestions: the only one I don’t agree about is correcting “due pacchetti che avevo comprato” in “due pacchetti che avevo comprati”. The former is much more common. Anyway, well done to you too, garyb! You spotted the most important problems.

Good list Emme, it was useful to me as well, and it confirms what I thought about using pronouns for people versus objects.

That's surprising to me, but thanks for pointing it out! I knew that the agreement was pretty much optional, but hadn't realised that not making it was in fact more common. I think at times my Italian can still be a bit too "by the book" rather than reflecting common usage - for example it took me a while to get out of the habit of using "avrei dovuto"/"sarei dovuto" where an Italian would more likely use "dovevo". I blame French.

Wow, thanks a lot guys! You're all great for correcting me =)

----

Last friday my wife and I had a covnersation about our future, and we "decided" to actually do what I've been wanting (and planning on doing) for a long time. I'll keep working here, getting experience, making courses and in about 2/3 years, when all the paperwork is good, I'll go to Italy to recognize my Italian citizenship. Then, we'll grab our cases and move to Europe for some time. I always said that I wanted to do that, but it always sounded a very remote plan, far in the future. Now it sounds more like a plan, I hope you guys know what I mean.
Personally, I'd love to move to Italy, maybe Firenze or Roma, but with this crisis I guess Italy will be a hard choice, so we talked about The Netherlands (where her sister and brother-in-law live), or Belgium, or even Germany for that matter.
I really love to travel and living in Europe that's much easier and cheaper, because the countries are usually small (in comparison to Brazil at least). We'll see "soon" =)

That's great news and the prospect of living there will certainly help to keep you motivated!

Also, your French writing on the previous page was really good.

I think that knowing "when to use the instrumental case" with the past will always be a problem for me. I constantly misuse it, and I'm never sure whether I must use it or not.

Merci, @Tsopivo! =)

SO, I don't know why I haven't told you guys yet, but last week I've had my first actual conversation in Dutch ever!

Вчера is an adverb, not a noun. Even if it could be used as a subject, it would be neutre
But you can use it as an adverb here. (when?)
