It will not get in the way of your Dutch except timewise. Your Dutch is not that bad.

Salut mes amis!

Guys, to tell you all the truth, the specific point that I told 2 posts ago is making me very disappointed. and wanting to give up on Arabic...
Egyptians are reaaaally rare here in Brazil, so practicing and making local friends is not a real option, and not being able to chat with people even on he internet (because of what I said up there), which is basically the point of learning languages, makes this kind of pointless for me.
I guess I should have chosen another language for the #Add1Challenge...

I don't think it'll be worth it, so maybe the best solution is leaving it =)

So, I followed my heart and left Egyptian Arabic. I believe it's for the best, and now I'll be able to focus on French and Dutch (and maybe some Russian) until December!
Next year, I want to start with German! It's the next "big thing" on my list, and I'll be devoting a lot of time for it in 2014, at least I plan to.

Make it two! I also want to (re)start German next year, and this time I really want to
bring it up to basic reading proficiency. If my German gets as good as my Norwegian
currently is, I will surely let go all the frustration of not advancing on it as fast as
I thought during my first attempt. It will be easier for you to, because you'll know
Dutch, so I think we both can focus on aggressive approaches, that is, try to practice
reading and talking right from the beginning.

Grande, Fabricio!
Il tuo post in Italiano è pressoché perfetto.
Tre piccoli appunti:
po = po’
