I don't know your level of German, but if it is in the earlier stages this is an old BBC
series (not native German TV) from the language course Deutsch Plus - so it is at basic
level - but it nevertheless provides good comprehension practice:

and this is a UK Channel 4 series for school kids (no subtitles, but comprehensible
input):

I think Heimat (directed by Edgar Reitz) is one of the best German TV serials of all time. Three seasons were
made and they actually qualify as films since some cinemas showed the blocks of episodes in there entirety.
The changes in German society between 1918 and 2000 are reflected through the eyes of the inhabitants of
a small rural village. It is very accessible.
Funnily enough, most Germans I speak to have never heard of Heimat, yet my British friends who enjoy
German language and culture seem to love it.

On Deutsche Welle there is a mini soap (two series) which you can chose whether or not to use the subtitles.
It also has exercises that accompany it. It's also downloadable as an added bonus! B1/B2 level.

Do you mean German or English/Italian subs? If it's German subs then, while not quite what you asked for, you should be able to pick up a large number of free-to-air German satellite TV channels in Italy, many of which have German subs (although a fair number don't).
If it's English or Italian subs, I can't really help you there.

One Chrome solution:
download Youtube from Chrome
Another approach (browser independent):
download from Youtube "trick"
