Does anyone know some good contemporary Indonesian or Malay artists? I'm a (very, very
rank) beginner in Indonesian and love listening to music when I start learning a language. I've started out with Yuna, a Malay singer who's started to draw some attention in the U.S. with her English-language releases. Here's one of her Malay-language singles: Yuna - Terukir Di Bintang Just because she is pop doesn't mean that's the only kind of music I like - I am open to anything! I like Koil. I only know Koil. Wait, and Peterpan/Noah. And Amazing in Bed, but I don't know if they did anything in Indonesian. Oh, and in one of the Music Alliance Pacts was something by Armada, they seem to be okay too.
ETA: Just checked, Amazing in Bed have songs with Indonesian lyrics.
