I was wondering if maybe anyone could fill me in on some good Italian shows? Any genre really. Police, mystery, sitcom. I didn't really like I Cesaroni/La Piovra though.

Some shows I like:

Corleone
Inspector Montalbano
L'ispettore Coliandro
Squadra Antimafia
RIS
Donne Assassine

Thanks :D

Without any doubt, the best show I have seen in a very long time is "Romanzo Criminale",
the TV adaptation of the novel.

Oh shoot I forgot to add that one to my list of shows seen.

Thanks for the suggestion though. :)

I do have to ask however, did you watch that show with those Spanish subs that are floating around? Or were there English/Italian ones that I missed out on?

I have watched some of Romanzo Criminale with the Spanish subs that can be found on the net - I couldn't find any others at the time. I have to say, the show's storylines did not grab me much. The Italians are so bad at TV.

I had the original series lend to me by a friend of mine, so I don´t really know about
subs online, sorry.
For me it was a great show, and I actually enjoy Italian television, mostly comedy.

Well I don't know your taste but some shows like Un medico in famiglia or Camera Cafè
helped me a lot.
