I have Asterix in Esperanto and a couple in Latin and Italian. Maybe I can translate one into Cherokee...
Mi havas Asterikson Esperante kaj kelkaj latine kaj itale. Eble mi povas traduki unu Ĉeroke....

Just as information for the collectors, if you visit Finland make sure you don't just buy Asterix in Finnish, but also in the Savo and (or?) Karjala (Carelia) dialects.

I ordered it from esperanto-usa. Asterix ĉe la opilimpiaj ludoj
Mi mendis ĝin de esperanto-usa.com (la libroservo). UEA.com havis Asteriĉ en Tibeto ankaŭ.

I also collect Asterix in different languages. I have not counted them, but I must have them in 15-25 languages. I actually learned a lot of my French from Asterix. I went to school in France, and whenever we had drawing classes I was sent to the library to read (which was a better option than trying to let me draw anything!!) Since I couldn't really read French yet, they allowed me to read Asterix.
The more exotic versions I have are Hebrew, Letzeburgesch and Hessian.

When I was young you could borrow Asterix and Tintin books from UK libraries in French - I don't suppose that's the case nowadays. It was a great way to get into reading in a foreign language.

What a great thread! I loved Asterix as a child, and still do now. Has anyone got Asterix in Chinese?

I'm so jealous; I've got only one French-language Tintin and a smattering of English books as well as a few English-language Asterix books. Even in English, they're not readily available here.
