while watching various multilingual videos I came across this channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/m32amir
so I just wanted to find out if he is a member on this forum?
This guy is good, although his pronunciation in German is somewhat questionable. His strong languages are English and Spanish (I guess)

Yes, m32amir is a member of this forum and a regular reader of this polyglot subforum. I have had the fun to skype with him personally and I can confirm that he speaks several languages fluently. If you want to know which languages, then have a close look at his You Tube videos. German is his newest language, so we should allow him to take the time to study and practise this language well. I have conversed with him in English, Spanish, Italian, French, helped him with his German and listened to his Portuguese, which I myself don't speak.
I hope that I have summarized this well, Amir! :-) :-) By the way, am looking forward to your first German videos in the future.

Thanks for commenting guys. Yeah, I think proplayer is right. On that video my German pronunciation was not that good. I'm working on it. I'll upload few videos when I get back home in 2 weeks.

Hi Amir! I watched your videos a lot of time ago, I am impressed but there is something I asked myself when I watched your videos, and I still don't understand: why didn't you speak in Kazakh too? I thought "maybe he is Russian monolingual as many happen to be in ex soviet countries" but now I see on your profile that you put it as a language you know. I think showing you know a Turkic, non Indo-European language would get you even more polyglot appreciation (as if you needed more, but still :) )!

That's the way to do it: Two polyglots speaking German with Amir on Skype and he takes fluently part in this conversation. Gut gemacht, Amir!
Amir is now on university holidays in Kasachstan and I send my best wishes to this country.

Fazla, thanks for commenting here!
Yeah, I feel like adding one or two languages outside of Indo-European family. Most likely those will be Chinese and Japanese. But at this point I don’t feel like adding a new one.
Fasulye!
To me it’s always a big pleasure to chat with real polyglots. Thanks a lot for providing me with German practice.

According to my latest Skype conversation with Amir, I cannot confirm this statement.
Such Skype calls are always a terrain of mutual language practise and improvement. I hadn't used my Spanish for many years, so it was my big chance to practise (for example) my Spanish with Amir and in return for this give him the possiblilty to speak German with a native speaker and answer his questions about German.
Meanwhile Amir's pronounciation of German (live on Skype!) has improved significantly.Of course when speaking with me he can assimilate my native accent, this is a different situation than, when he is alone making a video recording in German.
