I mentioned podcasts of Håkan Nesser speaking in someone's log, and not wanting to clog
the log too much, I'll post this here, where others may be interested as well:

The NNBC (Nordic Noir Book Club) sponsored an event at the London Review of Books. This
link covers the whole
event I think:

(watch the space):

Hkan-
Nesser---World-Literature-Weekend-2011.html

There are actually 3 podcasts linked within that:

lw11_crime_fiction_02.MP3

This is the link from the NNBC's own website:

There are a lot of items on there, mostly about events that have long since passed.
Podcasts of some events are available on iTunes, but I'm afraid I haven't heard those
as I don't currently have iTunes installed.

As well as the links to MP3s I posted above, I have a feeling there is at least one
more direct link to an MP3 involving Håkan. I'm not seeing it right away, but I will
add it when I (if) find it.

Edit:

Within that there is a link to Håkan Nesser's talk, and another one by Francis
Hopkinson.

I don't want to risk editing that post again, as chrome will probably mangle the links.
So here are the direct links to the 2 latter-mentioned podcasts, with a link to the
blog entry, with part of the intro, by way of context:

Nordic Noir: Shadows in the Snow

Featuring Håkan Nesser & Francis Hopkinson

If you missed this first book club meeting, you can find photos and podcasts of the
talks and discussions from the Horse Hospital further down on this page.

The first meeting of the UCL Nordic Noir Book Club took place on the 3rd of February
2011 at the Bloomsbury Horse Hospital (London WC1N 1JD)

The book club meeting took the shape of an investigation into Swedish crime fiction
with speakers including best-selling author Håkan Nesser. We held up a magnifying glass
to the landscape of Swedish crime fiction, through recent novels, TV programmes and
book covers.

Nesser is a very engaging and entertaining speaker.
