I am just starting to learn French. My children are interested, but are too young to use Pimsleur, they can't sit still for that long. However, they keep asking me to watch their favorite movies in French. I would love to have some children's books for them as well. I want to encourage their interest as much as I can. They already run around saying, "Bonjour Monsieur." (Excuse the spelling if I messed it up. I've only started Pimsleur.)
If said children's book also had audio version available to accompany them, then that would be great. Even an online book or something similar. Thank you all.

Have you seen Little Pim From Pimsleur geared
towards children.

You can also get children's books online at
Children's Library

I've seen clips or even entire episodes of cartoons in different languages on youtube. Try a search like "Bob the Builder French" or whatever shows they like.

EDIT: Oops you want books. Sorry can't help with that.

If you and your kids are just learning, you'll want books with audio, correct? (EDIT: which you mentioned in the original post... lol)

Ladybird publishes 4 books about Max et Mathilde. They are designed for teaching children French, and have an excellent audio track which includes translation, a space for repitition, and ends with an activity or song. There are four books in the series, and my children enjoy "doing" them very much. (I think I've mentioned these in a thread MrFrenchFox was on, but put them here for the benefit of others following this thread).

Berlitz makes a series of books with CD's in several European languages, including French. They are pretty good, but a lot longer. Again, these are designed for non-native learners.
