It is celebrated outside Russia as well, but not as heavily. I have been to 8th of March parades, 8th of March dinners, and was once even almost arrested by the police, since the parade/protest march I was in turned illegal at some point. We are sometimes congratulated on the day, but I am sorry to say that since we falsely believe that we have equality between genders already in Norway, the day is sometimes treated with indifference. 5 persons have voted this message useful | |||
