If you want to watch some of his videos, 5 of them are mirrored at idislikechezrocksall. If you know German, Burmese, Spanish, or Hungarian you can judge his ability by these videos. He used to have dozens of them on his chezrocksall channel (or as some smart alecks put it, google-translate-doesnt-rockall).

His German is almost incomprehensible. He can't even pronounce "ja" correctly (saying "yeah" instead), he constantly repeats some mispronounced simple phrases (like "daisse [sic] Buch"), and he throws some English words into the mix.
Those who comment on his Spanish video think that not even Google Translate would produce such bad phrasing. Apparently he uses the word *nome for "name".

Ok now I've seen his videos I kind of understand why he removed them. In his German video, he keeps saying the same thing over and over as mentioned higher and his Spanish is at most conversational. The pronunciation of his Hungarian is just horrible and I can imagine what would natives say about his Burmese, altough I'm not familiar with the language.
Here are some pictures

Did he choose them alphabetically?
I'd LOVE to see him try to say something in Finnish. I'm sure the people who did 35h speak it better than he does!

It seems so. Oh Abkhaz check yes, Afrikaans check yes ...
He probably won't post any more videos. The oral part of language cannot be replaced with GT if you don't want to sound like a robot.

One thing may not be his fault at all. I noticed that speakers of less spoken or not so attractive languages are cheering for you and saying you're great after you tell basics like: Hello. How are you? My name is... People like Cesare could have been told he spoke great language XY and he took it literally.

I think we can already see why threads such as this are discouraged, and hence why we try not to talk about certain specific people. In short, it leads nowhere productive.

I disagree. People who are putting themselves out there as some sort of "language prodigy" (check some of Chez's comments on YouTube, he thinks he's one) or have secrets to language learning that they're willing to sell (like Benny) should be tested. Like they say, don't run through the neighborhood naked and yell at gawkers that they're peeping toms. Besides, we talk about polyglots (or alleged polyglots) all the time on the forum. If it gets too heated, a mod will lock the thread.
I've talked to Chez and he seems like a nice guy, just a little confused. He may even be a good language learner, but he gets carried away. He'll find out one way or another he's not as good as he thinks, although he might not take too kindly to people who disagree and he may have a frail ego (just like another controversial polyglot we all know).

There's another name for the list of symptoms associated with narcissistic personality disorder: it's called autism, which Chez has been diagnosed with years ago.
