Hands down, no contest- in Portuguese I would pick Aguas de Março Tom Jobim e Elis Regina The amazing voice of Elis Regina in duet with the master of Brazilian music, Tom Jobim, is a classic, innately Brazilian, song. @Erikspen of On Learning Brazilian Portuguese has a link to a language lesson based on it: Aguas de Março a lesson. It's a fun way to learn some Portuguese and a bit about, Brazil and life at the same time.

My all-time favourite Irish song is Tabhair dom do lámh - which has no lyrics! Here's a version by Planxty which starts with the English song 'Raggle Taggle Gypsy'.
