Já, eg get lesið eitthvað á íslenzku og skil óg litið ef ég heyri íslenzk (að mestu leyti á www.ruv.is). En ég er ekki búinn til að skrifa eða tála það enn.
EDIT:
Ja, jeg kan læse noget på islandsk og forstår også en lille smule når jeg hører islandsk (mest på det islandske TV-selskabs hjemmeside). Men jeg er overhovedet ikke klar til hverken at skrive eller tale det endnu.

Det er meget interessant, at læse de andre sprog. Jeg kan forestå svensk og norsk, men islandsk er ganske forskellige. Det er lignende til fransk for en person, der snakker engelsk, fordi der er ligheder, men kan jeg ikke forestå det.

Ni som kan flera skandinaviska språk (kanske i synnerhet ni som inte har något av dem som modersmål) - är det så att ni känner er någorlunda "bekväma" i alla? Är det någon färdighet som funkar bättre i ett av språken men sämre i ett annat? Jag tänker mig att någon här kanske kan läsa (och förstå talad) danska, norska och svenska ungefär lika bra, men hellre skriver och talar ett av dem. Vad säger Linguamor? :)

... og i fortsættelse af Jeff's spørgsmål: er der meget stor forskel på det talte og det skrevne sprog i denne henseende? Vi hører jo altid at specielt talt dansk er svært at forstå for stort set alle andre end os selv, men gælder det også skrevet dansk?

För egen del så förstår jag skriven danska bättre än talad. Det ser ut ungefär som norska (i själva verket är det säkert norska i 50% av fallen) och innebär inga större svårigheter så länge det är ord som vi alla har gemensamt.
