Done with school for a few weeks. Yesterday and today, not much was done. I'll start full scale tomorrow to learn as much as possible over the next few weeks.

My computer is stupid. The language bar doesn't usually show up. I have to go to the control panel, open up the language options tab, turn off the language bar, push okay, open the language options tab back up, turn on the language bar, and then it shows up in the middle of my screen. |

On most of my machines, I just put it on the taskbar instead. The quickest way for that is to right-click the taskbar and select "Toolbars / Language Bar" (based on Windows XP, anyway).

BTW, earlier you mentioned that 화영's sister would be debuting in a different group. I had already noticed that 남녀공학 was in the same entertainment company as 티아라, but I hadn't noticed that one of the members *is* that sister until the last episode of SGB I watched where they said as much (they had two members from each group on that episode). I had assumed she was going to be in a group that debuted later than 티아라의 comeback, but apparently she out-debuted her sister instead.

On the studying front, I've been very slack lately myself. With the combination of being quite busy at work lately plus the extra tasks associated with the holidays, my studying has dropped to practically nothing. I'm doing my SRS reviews and watching a couple shows per day, but that's been about it. I should have a good bit of free time the next few days, though, so I'm hoping to put it to good use.

I caught up on my Japanese SRS reviews, but still behind on the Korean and Kanji decks (about 200 cards each.)
Been a lazy vacation so far, spending more time watching dramas and playing video games. Finally chatted with a Japanese person on Shared Talk before the site stopped working. Recently, a lot of Japanese people have wanted to talk to me about Kpop. 2009 and before, I doubt this would have happened.
Oh, watched a subbed episode of Taxi with T-ara on it. I watched the raw video 6 months ago, but today I watched the subbed version. I can only watch a subbed video if it's about music/idol groups/etc. With dramas, if I watch something with subs, I drown out the dialogue.

Watched part of the SBS's Gayo Daejeon live. Not cool, SBS. Ten minutes of commercials, performances I don't care about, and T-ara gets shafted big time.

Ahhh...it is about time for those shows isn't it. What do you mean by "T-ara got shafted big time"?

BTW, late last week I decide to give the Gold List method a try (since my motivation for the previous vocab method had quickly started to dry up so I was accomplishing pretty much nothing as far as vocab input). Today was my 7th day of it (I'm only entering one 16-entry list per day right now), so I don't really know how well it will work out (since I won't have a clue until at least the first distillation which is a minimum of 2 weeks into the system). Since I'm only doing words (not phrases or sentences like I do when I enter new info into the SRS), it takes me *far* less time per day. I figure that, worst case, it will give me a ready-made vocab list to feed into my SRS later.

T-ara and BEAST had a joint stage. Each song was only a minute long. Beast came out singing Yayaya (hilarious), T-ara then sang Crazy Because of You, Beast then sang "Breath," and then sang "Beautiful" while dancing with T-ara. So, T-ara only sang for a minute while other groups, at the very least, got a full song.

That reminds me. Did you see the joint T-ara / Secret stage from the Dec 17 Music Bank (I just watched it last night, since I'm a bit behind on music shows)? The 4minute/Beast stage (on the same show) only involved switching between the two groups with some mixed group dancing during the transitions, but T-ara and Secret actually performed one song from each group ("너 때문에 미쳐" followed by "Magic") together (i.e. all 11 members on stage all performing the same dance moves).
That was also the "2010 year end K-chart" show and SNSD absolutely cleaned up taking 1st, 4th, and 6th place with "Oh!", "Hoot", and "Run Devil Run" (Kara took 3rd with "Lupin"; T-ara took 10th and 11th with "Bo Peep, Bo Peep" and "너 때문에 미쳐"). The most amazing part is that recent songs almost never make the year-end chart as they haven't been out long enough yet to rack up enough volume. Despite that, SNSD's very recent "Hoot" still took 4th place for the year. Wow!

And it's pretty sad, since 2010 was SNSD's worst year song wise. And yeah, being a major fanboy of T-ara and Secret, I watched it lol. Today's performances at KBS were good, and Supreme Team wasn't cut off today (Supreme Team and Tiger JK performed yesterday, but they performed at the end of part 1, got cut off by a DBSK comeback teaser, then commercials, so no one watching it on TV/the computer saw the whole thing.)

Got my Tales of Graces F copy. Played about an hour. Surprised I understood quite a bit, considering my Japanese is only half as good as my Korean.
