Cool topic.
But are you looking for favorite books in your own target language? Or are you looking for forum members' language related favorite books? Or are you looking for favorite books, period? One might think this question is impossible to answer without knowing more about you, and impossibly subjective even if we knew all about you and your interests and what you may already have read. But such a thought would be wrong; your question is capable of an objective, indisputable answer.
There are only three authors worth reading: Jorge Luis Borges, John Le Carre and Kurt Vonnegut. Perhaps Kilgore Trout as a distant fourth. The remainder of all other authors, real or otherwise, will just give you either a headache, an empty pit in your soul, wrong-minded ideas or scurvy. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |
