Hello everyone i'm CarloThunder :). I'm 25 and i'm from Preston, England. I've been on this site for a while now but only now have i put the effort to introduce myself.

For about 6 months now i think, i've been learning French but in recent times my studying has been affected by personal issues. Anyway i'm hoping if somebody who speaks French on here can help me out as a kinda 'pen pal'. I'm studying on my own and have no one to help correct my mistakes. One being the 'un' sound which i can't get right.

Wellcome!

I can help you with French, although it's not my mother tongue. French is not that hard to pronounce, but it's important to get the nasal sounds right. You have to reproduce them with your nose!

Enjoy learning French! It's a great language!

Thanks Suzumiya :), i'd appreciate any help you can give. The problem i have right now is that i haven't studied French consistently for a while and i'm not sure how i can get back to where i was. In the conjuctive 'Il regardent', is it correct that the 'ent' isn't pronouced?

Yes, Ils regardent is pronounced exactly like Il regarde (watch out for liaisons in French though (there are none in this example)).
